I’m delighted to share with you the news that we have successfully completed the search for the next Executive Director of the POD Network!

Danielle Gabriel

Our new Executive Director is Danielle Gabriel.

Danielle Gabriel is a creative, dedicated leader with myriad experiences in program management spanning a decade. She is committed to fostering educational and personal growth within communities. During her time with the George Washington University Office of Alumni Relations, she developed, led, and executed innovative programming and initiatives that contributed to meaningful engagement and lasting connections for the alumni community. Most recently as the Assistant Director for Museum Grants and Stewardship at the George Washington University Museum and The Textile Museum, Danielle successfully managed the museum’s institutional giving efforts and stewardship of the museum’s community of supporters. Danielle played a vital role in fostering sustained growth and support for the museum.

Danielle holds a B.A. in Art from Lafayette College and a M.A. in Museum Studies from the George Washington University. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Human Organizational Learning discipline at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at the George Washington University. Her research is dedicated to dismantling barriers and fostering inclusive environments that celebrate the diversity of the human experience. Danielle’s research explores pathways to equity and inclusion through understanding the intersections of social exclusion and the development of organizational routines in social and organizational structures.

As Executive Director, Danielle is excited to lead the POD Network into the next season of impact for the educational development community. Together with the dedicated leaders, members, and staff, Danielle will leverage the collective passion of POD and forge new connections to amplify our mission and shape a vibrant future of higher education.
