Fran has been a member of the POD Network since 1998 and has served on multiple committees and Special Interest Groups, including Digital Resources & Innovation; Strategic Planning; Small Colleges & Centers; Finance; and Core Committee. Her service on the Professional Development Committee included creating POD Connects and POD Live and chairing the committee. She has also served as a proposal reviewer for the annual conference for many years. In her current capacity as Past President she is chairing this search committee and the Governance Committee.

Tazin Daniels

Tazin Daniels

Associate Director, Center for Research on Learning and Teaching, University of Michigan

Tazin has been a member of the POD Network since 2016 and has served in a number of leadership roles, including chair of the Health Care Educational Developers SIG and chair of the Professional Development Committee. She is a founding member of the first BIPOC affinity group, formed in 2019, and continues to support the advancement of educational developers of color through her scholarship and service.

Teresa Focarile

Teresa joined the POD Network in 2014 and has contributed to the organization’s work in a variety of ways, including: three years in the chair rotation of the Adjunct and Part-Time Faculty SIG; a member of the Professional Development Committee since 2018, and the chair of that committee this year; and Co-chair for the 2022 Online POD Conference.

Stacy Grooters

Stacy Grooters (she/her)

Executive Director, Center for Teaching Excellence, Boston College

Stacy serves on the Executive, Core, Governance, and Finance Committees in her current role as President-Elect. She is also the presidential liaison to a number of other committees and SIGs. During her 17 years as a member, she has chaired the Awards Committee and the Diversity Committee (now the DEI Committee) and has also worked to further POD’s accessibility efforts, leading ad hocs to improve accessibility at the conference, ensure captioning of POD-produced media, and lower financial barriers for members.

Gloria Niles

Director of Online Learning, University of Hawaiʻi System

Gloria was a 2019 Donald H. Wulff Diversity Fellow, and currently serves as the immediate past chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She currently serves on the Core Committee, and is the incoming chair-elect of the Finance Committee.

Cheryl Richardson

Director of Inclusive Teaching Excellence, Adler University

Cheryl has been very active in the POD Network for ten years as a conference participant, session reviewer, and committee member. She has held leadership positions in the Core Committee, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, facilitated strategic planning, and assisted with the Awards committee.

Adriana Streifer

Adriana has been a member of the POD Network for 10 years. She currently serves on the Core Committee, and as chair of the Awards Committee. She has previously held leadership roles in the GPPD SIG and Innovation Award subcommittee.

German Vargas

Website & Digital Platforms Coordinator, Otterbein University

German is a current member of the Core Committee. He served as Program Chair for the annual conference in 2019 and Conference Chair in 2020 and 2021. He has been a POD Network member and volunteer for almost 10 years. He recently served as the co-chair (2020-2022) of POD’s Digital Resources and Innovation committee.

Gaye Webb

Gaye Webb (She/Her)

Administrative Manager, POD Network

Gaye has worked as a part-time Administrative Assistant for POD since 2015 and served as the on-site logistical conference supporter since 2009. She was recently promoted to full-time Administrative Manager. She works closely with the Executive Director, the administrative committees (Executive, Core, Finance, and Governance), and the Communications Team.
