The Educational Development Internship Program aims to provide one or more POD member institutions to support an internship position related to educational development in higher education. The goals for the Internship Program are (1) to provide a person from a historically underrepresented racial and/or ethnic group (as defined within the U.S. context) with career exploration opportunities in educational development; and (2) to support the intern’s attendance either at the beginning of the grant at the 2016 POD Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, on November 9-13, 2016, or at the end of the grant, at the 2017 POD Conference.
