WAYFINDING: Mapping Pathways for Transformative Campus Change
Tuesday, June 17–Friday, June 20, 2025
On behalf of the POD Network, the California State University Faculty Development Council invites all new educational developers to join us on the campus of California State University, San Bernardino, nestled in the foothills of the majestic San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California, for the 2025 Institute for New Educational Developers.
There is a pathway for everyone into the terrain of educational development.
Whether you are a faculty member, you direct a teaching and learning center, you are an instructional designer, you are an administrator, or you serve in a related role, there is a pathway for you into educational development. Over four days, participants in the INED 2025 adventure will be inspired to plan a journey into making meaningful changes to your campus. The INED 2025 will provide an overview of the educational development terrain and exposure to new ways of thinking, equip you with a professional backpack to support your work, and connect you to a community of fellow wayfinders.

The planning committee seeks a diverse group of experienced educational developers to serve as presenters and faculty for the duration of the Institute. We enthusiastically invite applications to present workshops and plenary sessions on a variety of topics, plus to serve as coaches or mentors to small groups or individuals for the week. Being an INED faculty member is important and rewarding service to the educational development profession.
